During this event, fireworks are shot off into the sky and Redd appears in a tent in the plaza selling Redd's Cookies. Isabelle hosts the fireworks show, and she can also be found in the plaza to the right of Redd's tent. Villagers may also be found around town, looking into the air and clapping.
Before the show starts, the player can go to Isabelle, and she will have the ability to display a custom design as a round-shaped firework that can be seen during the show. If the design is edited, the firework will also be changed. After the show has started, Isabelle will hand out one of four special bopper hats, as well as other fireworks that may be shot by the player themselves. While waiting for the fireworks there is sadly nothing to do for the player.
