Katie is a traveling female yellow kitten who occasionally appears in the player's town after going to another town using Wi-Fi connection. She can be taken to another town through the train station if the player chooses to do so, and in return she will reward them with a special gift the next day through the mail.
To take Katie to another town, the player must find her and tell her they will take her somewhere, then go inside the train station. Another player must have their own town's gates open, and after the player selects the town they wish to visit when talking to Porter, Katie will either follow them onto the train or drop her ticket. This will cause her to be surprised and have the doors close on her before she can enter, however, the player may still get an item from her and a letter where she tells that she caught the next train.
