Zucker (タコヤ, Takoya?) is a lazy octopus villager in Animal Crossing: New Leaf. His name refers to the Japanese snack "takoyaki", which is fried ball filled with chopped octopus while his English name is a reference to how octopi have suckers on their tentacles, as well as the German word for sugar which is zucker.
Appearance
He represents the Japanese snack takoyaki. His head resembles a takoyaki ball,and his green freckles resemble seasonings put on takoyaki. As well as the dark brown sauce on the top of his head that resembles takoyaki sauce, which takoyaki is commonly topped with. He initially wears the flan shirt. He has a wooden stick on his head which is the chopstick that you would normally use to eat Takoyaki.
